Canberra Wedding Photographer

I provide affordable wedding photography services throughout the Canberra region working in many of Canberra and Queanbeyan's most popular wedding and reception venues. Every one of my photography wedding packages is individually customised to meet your particular needs.

"Mark and his wife were an absolute life saver! If we had not had asked them to do the photography, our day would have ended in a disaster! The last weeks before the wedding everything fell apart and it was them that pulled it all together and saved the day!"
Kirsten and Daniel

"Thank you so much for the great job you both did, we love the photos. They are exactly what we wanted."
Sue and Renae

Engagement Photography

One of the special privileges of being a Wedding Photographer is being invited to tell the story of a bride and groom's wedding day, perhaps one of the most special moments in a couple's lives. To enable me to tell this story I like to get to know and start working with the bride and groom before the wedding. To help me do this I include free of charge a one hour “get to know you” engagement photography session (valued at $350.00) when you book a wedding photography package for 10 hours or more. I find these pre-wedding sessions serve as a great way for all of us to get to know each other before the wedding day.

My driving philosophy is "Together we will create something special which will outlast all of us." In 50 years time, I want you to be able to look at your wedding photos and remember what you were thinking, and how you were feeling, at that particular moment in time.

It’s your wedding day and I aim to help you make it everything you dreamed it could be.

Portrait Photography

One of the primary reasons I enjoy making photographic portraits is that I get to share other people’s experiences. On many occasions I find myself drawn into my subjects’ stories and I have to remind myself that I am there to make a photograph and not for the conversation. However, they both go hand-in-hand as to make a good portrait photograph you need to know and understand your subject.

Family Portraits

Years fly by and children grow up. Turn around and they are leaving home. Nothing stays the same. A printed family photographic portrait is one way to assure your memories are captured forever.

My affordable location portrait sessions are photographed in a casual way which helps create images with natural expressions and emotion. The result is the creation of beautiful printed photographs to be displayed in your home for you to enjoy for years to come.

"With both of our grown children leaving home we decided to have a family portrait taken that included the children's partners. Based upon the recommendation of some friends we asked Mark, the owner of Photography By Multilocus, to take the portraits for us. The photos were taken in the gardens at Old Parliament House. Mark was so easy going and made us feel very comfortable in front of his camera. He prints his own photographs and his high quality prints will always be treasured by our family. We highly recommend Mark."
Karyn

Business and Corporate portraits

Faces inspire me. Through my business and corporate portraiture I like to tell the stories of the business, the people behind it and their passion for it.

"... At the documentary level, ... the results are valuable historically while each photo is clean, no artifice, extremely well shot."
Canberra 'City News' Garry Raffaele
