Your wedding photographs should tell a story and we know that all good stories have a beginning, a middle and an end.
To enable us to tell your story to the best of our ability we like to start working together with you before the wedding. This allows us to get to know each other, so on the day we blend in with your guests and you do not notice us and our cameras sharing this special occasion with you. After the wedding, once we have processed your photographs we will meet again to fully explore all the options available to present and preserve your story.

We will meet with you to discuss in detail what it is that you want in your wedding photographs. If possible we will arrange a time prior to the day to have some fun working together, with the camera, to learn what you like and what you do not.
Do you want a formal or an informal feel to the shots? Are you aiming for a certain style to the day, a period look, something out of the usual?
Do you want to focus more on the two of you and your bridal party or to include everyone who attends and in as many shots as possible?
Is there someone you would especially like to be photographed?
Perhaps 97-year-old Great-Aunt Gladys (who was married for 60 years!), or your two-year-old flower girl with her new, three-month-old brother?

Your wedding is so much more than just the ceremony itself.

It is the preparations in the morning, the nerves before the walk down the aisle – at both ends of the aisle! - and the expressions on the faces of loved ones gathered to help you celebrate.
It is the quiet moments of reflection, the gestures of affection and the expressions of joy that can’t be contained.
Traditional wedding photography has often had a “class photograph” feel to it. Some albums are merely a roll call of who attended, all lined up in neat rows on the church steps.
We will provide you with much more. So many times couples are completely unaware of events occurring outside their immediate vicinity – they miss all the other things that their guests are experiencing. Things which we feel are also very important.
Finish with an album filled with all of those moments as well, rather than with just a book of formal photographs showing who was there.
Memories fade, but your photographs don’t have to …
After the wedding we can:
- present you with a disk of digital photographs taken on the day,
- work with you to design an heirloom collection of handcrafted photographs,
- or anything in between.
The options on how your photographs are presented are only limited by your imagination.
No matter what options you decide upon we will apply our years of experience to ensure the photographs are presented in a form that will ensure they last for many years to come.
If printed and stored correctly photographs can last many lifetimes.
As well as albums and framed prints we can also provide you with digital slideshows – but hasten to point out that these may not have the same life span as a printed photograph. The reason for this is simple. Formats and technologies change, and are doing so at ever more rapid rates. In 1990 nearly every home had a VHS player, today it is the DVD, therefore, we recommend caution before investing in such presentations.
